We caught up with Bec McConnochie, Deloitte's Australian Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Industry Lead, and Samsoor Hemat, The Adaptavist Group's Chief Revenue Officer, at this year's Atlassian Team '24 event in Las Vegas. We asked them some questions about our new partnership and how this union will initially benefit our customers across Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region.
Our recent research report, Digital Etiquette: Mind the Generational Gap, revealed that AI is now the most used tool for 24% of all knowledge workers. In addition, our special work management report, Productivity is not a place, found that of the 500 knowledge workers across the UK, US, and Canada we surveyed, 98% confirmed they are receiving training or guidance on AI tools. AI is here to stay, and organisations embracing it will stay one step ahead.
At Team '24, Atlassian's artificial intelligence announcements signalled the company's continued investment in AI product developments to revolutionise team collaboration and productivity to help teams work smarter. One of these announcements included its new and groundbreaking generative AI product, Rovo. In his opening keynote speech, Mike Cannon-Brooks, Co-Founder and co-CEO of Atlassian, describes Rovo as a built-in product for the AI era. It is a product that directly addresses one of the biggest challenges teams face today – turning the explosion of tools and data across the enterprise into a source of learning, knowledge, and action for the company at the speed it needs to move. Rovo is designed to revolutionise knowledge discovery and action across the organisation. Furthermore, Atlassian also announced additional advancements in AI, promising to enhance functionality across various tools. Atlassian is integrating AI across all its products, emphasising its focus on leveraging advanced technology to improve user experiences and functionality.
In today's rapidly evolving landscape of the enterprise environment, quickly locating, understanding, and acting on information is becoming a necessity. Our alliance with Deloitte enables our customers to embrace the challenges and demands of an increasingly AI-centric and flexible working world. By embracing AI-powered tools with our combined expertise in Atlassian advisory, implementation, and operations experience, we are best positioned at the forefront of innovation and drive value for our customers in the era of digital transformation.
