From 16 October 2024, price changes will be coming to a selection of Atlassian Cloud products, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. In addition, there are some feature updates for Jira Service Management plans.
Atlassian has announced a change affecting pricing for a selection of Cloud products.

What's changing?

  • Increase in list prices for a range of Atlassian Cloud products (see below)
  • Increase in Advantaged Pricing, most reaching list price
  • Feature changes for Jira Service Management plans
The affected products and increases are:
Jira and Confluence
  • Standard (5%)
  • Premium (6 - 10%)
  • Enterprise (10%)
Jira Service Management
  • Standard, Premium, and Enterprise 1–250 users (8%)
  • Standard, Premium, and Enterprise 251+ (20%)
Opsgenie
  • Essentials and Standard (5%)
  • Enterprise (10%)
Atlassian Guard
  • Standard 1-999 users (5%)
  • Standard 1,000+ users (8%)
Bitbucket
  • Standard and Premium (10%)
Compass
  • Standard (14%)
For organisations with Advantaged Pricing (special prices for long-term licences that increase over time), the costs for many of the above products will increase to list price.
These Atlassian pricing changes follow 12 months of enterprise-ready updates and the introduction of innovative features such as Summary, List and Calendar views in Jira, Databases and Whiteboards in Confluence, embedded Atlassian Intelligence capabilities, and more.
In addition, Atlassian says it remains committed to delivering innovative, powerful tools to increase visibility, consistency, and productivity — all powered by an enterprise-grade cloud platform.

Changes to Jira Service Management (JSM) Cloud

Changes are also coming to JSM. From 16 October, many incident, problem, and change management features will only be available for Premium and Enterprise plans, and pricing for Assets objects and Virtual Service Agents will change. If you're using these features, get in touch with us to discuss your options during the transition.
With these changes, now is the perfect time to review whether the Standard JSM plan is the right option for your business. Many organisations would benefit more from moving over to Premium or Enterprise editions and gaining even more unparalleled service management features.
